Development of the national profile on occupational safety and health and preventing fire and explosion (OSH-PFE)

The national OSH profile was developed in cooperation with concerned agencies and organizations, rejected the existence of management, organization and implementation of the OSH activities in Viet Nam. The profile included basic information on national policy, regulations, organizational structure, inspection system, monitoring working condition, training and cooperative activities.

Base on consensus idea from governmental agencies and representative of employees and employers, national OSH profile was amended and finalized. 2000 copies in Vietnamese and 300 copies in English were published to provide free of charge to all concerned agencies and organizations in-side and out-side the country in order to strengthen the cooperation among projects, programmes and to increase effectiveness of using available information resource.

This is necessary document and important database for developing the second national OSH programme, period 2010-2015.
