The World Day for Safety and Health at Workplace

Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA) cooperated with the ILO Hanoi Office to organize the meeting on 28 April 2003 in Ha Noi to respond the World Day for Safety and Health at Workplace. More than 120 participants representing for administrative agencies, organizations of employees and employers, and reporters of media agencies have attended the meeting.

Mr. Le Duy Dong, Vice minister of MOLISA and Madam Rose Marie Greve, Director of ILO Hanoi office participated and made speeches at the meeting.

The purpose of the meeting is to deliver the message of World Day for Safety and Health at Workplace to members and representatives of Governmental agencies, workers' and employer’s organizations to enhance deep awareness of government and social partners on this event.

In the same day, on 28 April 2003, Ministry of Labour - Invalids and Social Affairs cooperated with ILO Hanoi office published 5, 000 leaflets on World Day for Safety and Health at Workplace to enterprises and workers. Madam RoseMarie Greve presented MOLISA 2000 copies of CD-ROM on occupational safety and health in order to deliver to localities and enterprises.
