News on the reforming OSH administrative Structure

The Minister of Labour – Invalids and Social Affairs issued the Decision No.1118/2003/QD-BLDTBXH dated 10/9/2003 specifying the functions, responsibilities, rights and structure of the Inspectorate of MOLISA. Pursuant to this decision, The State Inspectorate of Occupational Safety became the Inspection Section of Occupational Safety and Health under the Inspectorate of the MOLISA.

On the same day, the Minister also issued the Decision No. 1123/2003/QD-BLDTBXH specifying the functions, responsibilities, rights and structure of the Department of Occupational Safety (DOS). According to this decision, DOS under MOLISA is responsible for assisting the Minister of MOLISA conducting administration on occupational safety, labour protection, occupational health in the wholecountry according to law and regulations.
