02:36' PM - Saturday, 18/12/2010

People working at home for producing some products like clothes, shoes, furniture, handcrafts... often exposure with high risks of occupational accidents and diseases such as using machines, electricity and chemicals. Most of them do not understand fully the risks relating to their safety and health during production. Therefore, providing practical OSH training for home workers is very necessary so that they can use simple, low-costs solutions and available resources to improve working condition and prevent occupational accidents and diseases at workplace.

In the framework of work-plan 2010 of project RAS/08/07M/JPN, the ILO in cooperation with MOLISA conducted a training of trainer course on Work Improvement for Home Workers (WISH/TOT) for 25 officials from 4 target provinces and the OSH training center from 22 -24 July 2010 in Hue city.
